Made from Olaf Schnelle’s sorrel, served with ethereal dill flower meringue. Perhaps you remember the tartness of sorrel from playing in the meadows as a kid. Well, this sorbet has it in spades. A classic combination of flavours, hailing from Villa Merton in Frankfurt. Works wonderfully well with a glass of schnapps, such as Landgut Preschen’s chicory root spirit. (How do you mean that’s not one of your household staples? In that case, vodka or gin will do just fine.)
