Pickled mustard seed
Mustard seed from Bingenheimer Saatgut in Frank Kalthentaler’s excellent apple vinegar. The pickled mustard seed retains some bite and a mild, deep aroma – it’s only upon being ground that mustard becomes spicy. For that reason, our pickled mustard seed is less dominant than regular mustard, so you can use it for more than just sausages, e.g. roasted vegetables.
Keep in the fridge once you’ve opened the glass. It will keep as long as regular mustard.
The mustard seed works well on a cheese sandwich. Also be sure to try it with anything green to addf flavour and texture: salad, spinach, kale,…
